I tried the 24 hours trial and it worked pretty well at the Miami airport and with the gogo in flight wifi.

This app is way too confusing to set up.
This app seems to work ok for go-go, but absolutely prevented me from connecting to free internet at Marriott properties. My work-around is deleting the app before connecting to free wi-fi then disconnecting. I also have had the same issue on Uniteds wi-fi ET.Al.
Battery dies really fast and I cant login on free wifi
Install it if you have no other option for wifi. Hope it works at all, which is unlikely. Then uninstall it as soon as you can. And reboot your phone. And reset your network settings.
I have the hardest time finding decent speed and secure wi-if when I travel. This app takes so much of the guess work out of it, that I find myself enjoying business travel again. Thank you, iPass!
I really, really HATE this APP and have removed it as there is no way to turn it off! I would rather do without WiFi in the 1% of cases where there is no free WiFi and I cant manually log on than have to deal with its intrusive behaviour in the 90% of the cases where there is a free WiFi available. Essentially, if the WiFi to which you wish to connect (like in an Airport, Hotel, Coffee Shop, basically everywhere these days) doesnt subscribe to their pay to access network [because theyre FREE, duh!] then this APP jumps in, tries to connect, fails and then DISCONNECTS you. There is NO way to stop this thing, no only does it always run in the background, whether or not you start it or not, but there is no OFF in the settings! The ONLY way to log onto a Free site that iPass latches onto, is to individually type in each and every hotspot SSID that it should ignore. The hotel in which I am now sitting has at least 38 different SSIDs which I would have to enter for just this one hotel. Avoid this until it doesnt start until asked, goes away when told to, and has an OFF switch.
@ PreventsWifi ; very sorry you encountered this issue - it was a bug that caused the disassociation in a small subset of hotspots - that is not the normal behavior. We have corrected that issue in version 3.5.0. Very sorry for the inconvenience - iPass Team
I upgraded to latest version and it doesnt work anymore. trying to connect on a flight using iOS9... can I go back to previous version please
Would be nice to be able to have iPass simply accept captive portal "accept to connect" buttons.
Recent update seemingly has broken the usage meter, which used to be useful. Finding it hard to fine use cases where this works for me other than gogo connections
Every time this app updates itself it ERASES my login credentials & activation code! Extremely annoying.
Have a corporate membership. Thought the app would locate and enable hot spot connections but it does not. It only shows you a list of nearby hotspots that you can go to. It is basically useless.
This app amazingly takes up half a GB (ridiculous) and it only rarely works to connect to wifi hot spots. The tipping point for me was that it actively prevented me from connecting to hotel wifi just because the hotel wifi wasnt supported by iPass. It would just keep disconnecting me without giving me a chance to log in on my own.
It hangs on this version
Had to uninstall it because the hotel I was staying at didnt support it, but iPass wouldnt give me the option of signing in manually.
Why is this POS one of the biggest apps on my phone? Memory hog. Avoid if you can.
tried re installing never work
App crashes as soon as it opens
This app recently started sending spammy notifications. Really disruptive, especially since I hadnt opened the app in weeks. This is against app store policy and reeks of desperation. Clean up your act guys.
